This water is renowned throughout the North west for it prolific fishing, it is approx two thirds of an acre in size, and accomodates 26 pegs, it is under lock and key access and is members only.
It is extremely well stocked with Mirror and Common carp to over 20lbs, there are tench, bream, crucians, perch, skimmers, rudd and roach to well over the pound, roach catches in the warmer months can quite often go over 50lbs and thats not bad any where.
Platform pegs are provided to fish from, and anglers must fish on the platforms. We have also provided some double platforms for senior/ juniors fishing together, and a number of specially adapted disabled platforms near the access to this water. There are some feature to fish to like white and yellow lillies, and the pump house wall.

Testimonials
Hi Ste
Just a line to thank you again for arranging the memberships for me & my uncle. I have visited yew tree a couple of time's and I think it is great. Firstly no kids riding bikes and running all over like most of the other club waters we are members of. On my first visit I had a good day catching silver fish & tench. At this time of year I was very impressed. Yesterday (Tuesday) I decided to give it another go. I took my new 15ft power match rod loaded with 3lb line & a small 18 hook with the intention to fish to hand. After throwing out some hemp & very finely chopped meat I had three to four hours fun catching more of the same with double red on the hook when it got to 5pm I decided on a go with meat. Well within minutes I was playing the first of three double figure mirrors up to around 15lb plus. I lost a couple also with them bending my hook strait. Theres not many club waters offering this kind of sport so late in the year. I look forward to next summer to see what it will be like then. I will be trying out the cannal soon & I am optomistic after talking with some of the other members. The access is also spot on I went up there yesterday on my own & had no trouble at all getting in & set up in my wheelchair. Let me know if you want me to keep you informed Of how we do.
Thanks again
Paul Hill
