 Newton AA work partys are under the control of the vice chairman, RonHassall ,he runs the associations weekly work partys on our waters. If you would like to help us on these work, but often fun events, then look out for dates and times to meet at the waters we are working on. This page will show the calender..The more bodies we have the less work there is to do. Tools etc will be provided by the association, so why not come along, and make new friends and have a laugh someone nearly always falls in.
On a more serious note, the kind of work that takes place is, strimming and pruning bankside vegetation, survey stock netting, aquatic weed controll, litter picking and general tidying up, all this is done for the benefit of the membership. Most work party's take place on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.
