Harrys tackle are sponsors of Newton AA spring league. Open six days monday to saturday, 8:30am to 6:00pm. Maggots, Casters, Pinkies and squatts fresh and clean twice a week. There is also a large range of continental baits available.

This year the summer match programme has been replaced by the Harrys Tackle spring league. This consists of 9 matches which will run fromMarch 29th th to the 3rd of June.

Disabled and over 60's weekly members matches take place each Thursday. The draw is at 10:30am on the upper pound car park.
Ladies matches will take place on the junior venue as per listed dates and times, if we have support from our female members.
Sat June 6th - The Fred Garner Memorial Trophy - The annual committee and workers match. Yew Tree Res. Entry to this match is by invitation only.
Tues August 10th - The senior citizens annual trophy - Draw 10:30am. 4 hours duration - Upper pound.
Sun Sept 5th - Lads and Dads match. Any pair of one junior and senior on adjoining pegs. Draw 9:00am . 4 Hour match.

Each Sunday from 21st march to 30th May 2010. Tickets are free from Ste McNally (members only) Upper/lower pounds. Drawn 9am. 4 Hours duration.
Sun Aug 22nd - National team open match. Drawn 9.00am Upper pound car park. 80 pegs.
The K&L Electrical open team championship - commernces Wednesday 26th May each week until 28th July. 8 Match series. Teams of 2. Entry fee £20.00 per team plus optional pools on each match. Draw 5:30pm Upper pound.
