 The Lower Pound is approx 600 meters long and this section accommodates 56 pegs, allthough the lower pound is mainly for pleasure angling it does have some matches on it, these are junior, ladies and outside club matches.
It is very well stocked with small mirror and common carp to 4lbs, tench, roach, rudd, perch, chub, Ide, crucian and f1 hybrid carp, and some massive EELs. The stocking levels here is that of a comercial fishery, but without the high cost of daily fishing, when you join the association it works out at less than 10pence per day.
This water is available to fish on a day ticket.
