Newton-le-Willows Anglers Association was inaugurated in 1974, at this time we only had the Sankey canal to fish on, since then we have aquired a more varied portfolio of fishing venues in and around Newton for our members, you will see this when you go further into the website.
We have the Yewtree Reservoir,The Vulcan Reservoir, Haydock park Farm = Cow Hey Dam and the Lagoon, approx 1mile of the Sankey Brook at Clayton House farm, the Sankey Canal, Upper Pound, the Sankey Canal Lower Pound, and Penkford Bridge. The Upper and Lower pounds are available on day tickets.
Permits for 2009 are now on sale at fishing shop outlets in Newton ,Ashton ,St helens ,Leigh and Warrington |
