This is Newton-le-Willows AA's new web site we will be updating info on a weekly basis, all the news that is happening in the club etc .If you have any fishing info or news then please email to the site, if you have any photos of fish caught in Newton waters please send to the email address on the site.
Newton-le-Willows Anglers Association was inaugurated in 1974, at this time we only had the Sankey canal to fish on, since then we have aquired a more varied portfolio of fishing venues in and around Newton for our members, you will see this when you go further into the website.
We have the Yewtree Reservoir,The Vulcan Reservoir, Haydock Park Farm (Cow Hey Dam and the Lagoon), Ena Mill Pool, Atherton, Lyme Pool & Wood Pool, Lyme & Wood Country Pk, Newton le Willows, River Dane Ravenscroft Middlewich, White Door Dam (two pools Oak & Beech), Moathouse Farm in Bold, St Helens (two pools: Mallard and Heron available on day ticket)
Approx 1mile of the Sankey Brook down stream of Penkford bridge for approx 1 ½ miles., a stretch of the River Glaze at Glazebrook, the Sankey Canal Upper Pound, the Sankey Canal Lower Pound, and Penkford Bridge. The Upper and Lower pounds are available on day tickets.
In 2013 we acquired rights for Sutton Mill Dam and Monastery Dam in St Helens, and two stretches of the River Severn at Shrewsbury.
Permits for 2014 (no joining fee) on sale from the middle of February at fishing tackle outlets in Newton, Ashton, St Helens, Whiston, Leigh, Golborne and Warrington
